Privacy Choices

Effective date: April 12, 2026

This page summarises the privacy choices available to everyone who uses ProgressPilot, regardless of whether you are on the free tier or an active premium subscriber. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy.

You can exercise any of the rights below by emailing support@progresspilot.app. We usually respond within 1–2 business days and, for formal GDPR requests, aim to fully resolve the request within one month.

1. Request Access

You can request a copy of the personal data we process about you (for example: your Firebase authentication identifier and subscription status, and any support correspondence).

Your workout history itself is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account — we do not hold a copy on our servers — so the most complete way to see it is directly in the app.

2. Request Deletion

The primary, self-serve way to delete your account is in the app: Settings > Delete Account. That removes your Firebase authentication account and local data on the device.

If you cannot access the app, email us and we will delete the account and any data we control on your behalf.

Apple subscriptions are billed and managed separately by Apple. Deleting your account does not automatically stop App Store renewal. Cancel the subscription in iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions if you also want to stop renewal.

3. Request a Portability Copy

You can request a copy of personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

All users — free or premium — can exercise this right by emailing support@progresspilot.app. Premium subscribers additionally have an in-app CSV export (Settings > Export Data) as a self-serve convenience; this is a product feature, not a condition of your legal right to portability.

4. Withdraw Consent for HealthKit

HealthKit access is opt-in. You can revoke any HealthKit permission at any time without affecting other parts of the app:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Go to Privacy & Security > Health
  3. Tap ProgressPilot
  4. Toggle individual read/write permissions off

5. Withdraw Consent for Notifications

Local workout reminders, streak alerts, and weekly digests are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off any time:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Scroll to ProgressPilot
  3. Open Notifications and toggle them off

You can also manage notification categories in the app under Settings > Notifications.

6. Manage Your Apple Subscription

Your ProgressPilot subscription is billed by Apple. To view, change, or cancel it:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find ProgressPilot and choose an action

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Object to AI Suggestions

AI-generated programs, targets, and coaching notes are suggestions for guidance only. You remain in control: you can edit any weight, rep, set, or exercise, swap exercises, skip sessions, or stop using AI features entirely while keeping the app’s manual logging functionality.

If you do not want AI features at all, simply stay on the free tier or do not use the AI-gated Settings.

8. Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. In Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto): tietosuoja.fi.

9. Contact

For any of the choices above, email support@progresspilot.app. Response time is typically 1–2 business days; for formal GDPR requests we aim to resolve within one month, subject to extensions permitted by applicable law.
